Summary

A Night at the Theatre with the College of Fine Arts

Description

Attend the opening night of a workshop production by the CFA School of Theatre: Brendan, the newest work by Ronan Noone, GRS ’01 and Huntington Theatre Playwright Fellow ’05. Brendan, an Irish immigrant who moved to Boston five years ago, is pursuing his dream of earning his citizenship while trying to cope with the loss of his mother. In his struggle to determine what it means to him to be an American citizen, Brendan must overcome several obstacles on the path to his goal. Expected at the pre-performance reception are two BU alumni luminaries—the award-winning playwright (Lepers of Baile Baste, Blowin of Baile Gall) and Tony Award-winner Dan Fogler, CFA ’98 (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee). Start the holiday season off with a well-priced, sure-fire hit/ RSVP to Alumni Relations by Friday, Dec. 1, 2006. Pre-payment of tickets required. Show only: $8 (BU Alumni); Reception only: $15; Both events: $20.
