My Vote, My Voice? How Democracy Works in the US and Elsewhere

This BU Votes lecture will compare political systems in the US and Europe. Student will learn what happens after they vote and how their vote makes a difference. The lecture is part of BU Votes, a University-wide effort to encourage students to take part in the political process by registering to vote and casting their ballot. The lecture will deepen understanding of the political process in Western democracies.
