A History of the Pathology Department at Boston City Hospital (1890 - 1980)

The BUSM Historical Society & Pathology Interest Group invite you to learn about the history of the Pathology Department at the Boston City Hospital from 1890-1980, with Dr. Michael O'Brien, Professor Emeritus of Pathology. From the arrival of Dr. Councilman and Dr. Mallory (Councilman Bodies, Mallory Bodies) through the days of Dr. Robbins (of textbook fame), up until the appointment of Dr. Gottlieb as Chair at BU, we hope you will join us to learn about the rich and storied history of Pathology at our very own institution! Food will be provided.
