Workshop - Challenges in Art Fabrication: Concept, Design, and Fabrication

Join BU Computational Artist in Residence, Francisco Alarcon, for a workshop on the fabrication process and responding to challenges that arise along the way. Details: Friday, Dec. 6. 1-2pm BU Engineering Product Innovation Center (EPIC) 750 Commonwealth Ave Design Studio 102A RSVP Required: https://art-fabrication.eventbrite.com Francisco will discuss his recent work with the Engineering Product Innovation Center, and the process that a piece goes through, from concept and design, through prototyping, to final artifact. Learn about the creative process through an interdisciplinary approach as it pertains to both the artist and the engineer, and the collaborations that can happen between these two. This workshop is free and open to all BU community members. Francisco Alarcon is an artist and engineer working at the intersection of visual arts and technology.
