The Job: Work and Its Future in a Time of Radical Change

BU Professor Ellen Ruppel Shell is a critically acclaimed journalist for The Atlantic and she has written for The New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post, National Geographic, and Time Magazine to name a few. Join Professor Shell on Sunday, October 20th as she discusses her latest book, The Job: Work and Its Future in a Time of Radical Change. Shell will discuss securing a job in our highly competitive, global and digital world. She’ll also talk about the value of work, finding purpose, and fulfillment—acknowledging that jobs fill much more than monetary needs. Barnes & Noble will have books available for purchase and Professor Shell will sign copies at the event. Apple cider and donuts will be served. Tickets are $5 per person.
