Coffee Talk with BU Mom & Author

Join us for a lively discussion about parent and family roles during your student’s college years. Liz Yokubison, author and proud parent of a Boston University junior will be on campus to share nuggets of wisdom from her book, They’re Ready. Are You? A Parent’s Guide to Surviving the College Transition. Attendees will have a chance to participate in a robust Q&A session, followed by a personalized book signing with the author. Liz is a former marketing professional who worked at Fortune 500 companies and was an adjunct professor prior to pursuing her love of writing fulltime. Her work has been featured in national and regional publications such as SKI, Yoga Journal, Women's Adventure and Park City magazines. Liz holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA from Michigan State University. When her twins moved away to attend college, she was inspired to write a book for parents and families to help them prepare for this major life transition. Books will be available for purchase and Liz Yokubison will sign copies at the event. Apple cider and donuts will be served. Tickets are $5 per person.
