The Enrichment and Student Affairs Offices at B.U. School of Medicine present “A Doctor’s Visit,” a staged reading of Anton Chekhov’s short story adapted for the stage. Come watch med students perform and stay for a “talk back” after where the themes and relevance of the play are discussed. “A Doctor’s Visit,” tells the story of a doctor and his apprentice as they venture outside Moscow to treat the daughter of a wealthy factory owner. Nothing appears to be the matter, until the family convinces them to stay the night. Stage adaptation by Guy Fredrick Glass | Directed by Anna Bortnick (CFA ’18, Medical Humanities Fellow).
