The topics discussed during the tutorial include: Customizing your environment Parallel computing on the SCC Jobs monitoring (CPU and memory usage) Profiling programs for performance optimization General optimization strategies Recommended prerequisite: some prior experience with high performance computing or attendance of our “Introduction to BU’s Shared Computing Cluster” tutorial.
