In Real Life Workshop: Communicating Your Idea Through "The Pitch"

You are so excited about your idea! How to do you get others just as excited so they want to join your team, buy your product, or invest? Learn how to effectively communicate your idea and passion to customers and investors. Facilitator: Rachel Spekman, Innovate@BU Program Director of Business Ventures Attendees will be able to: Articulate what a “pitch” is and why it is useful when moving an idea/project/startup/venture forward Understand how to adjust pitch for length, audience, and ask Understand the basics needed in the: oral, written, and verbal pitch This workshop is part Innovate@BU's In Real Life series. The series includes six different workshops that teach innovation skills and help build an entrepreneurial mindset that you can use to create impact #InRealLife. Each topic is offered two times during the fall 2018 semester.
