AGNI, a literary magazine housed at Boston University and known “among readers around the world,” as the writers group PEN put it, “for publishing important new writers early in their careers, many of them translated into English for the first time.” To celebrate the release of the fall issue, AGNI 94, seven contributors will read from their work at our virtual launch: poets Daniel Borzutzky and Marianne Chan; essayist Melissa Chadburn; fiction writer Che Yeun; and from our Futures portfolio of work in translation, we welcome poet Hussain Ahmed and German translator Shelley Frisch with novelist Carmen Stephan. |
