She and her team specialize in integrated photonics on silicon<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW141175658 BCX0\">.\u00a0 <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW141175658 BCX0\">Prof. Poon obtained her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from\u202fCaltech\u202fin 2007.
