After winning such an award, the student will not be eligible for support again in the same academic year.<\/p>\n<p>Requests for support should be sent by email to Meghan Foley (megfoley@bu.edu).<\/p>\n<p>Please include the following information in the request:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Name, location, date, and website address of the conference at which the work will be presented;<\/li>\n<li>Confirmation that the paper or oral presentation has been accepted, including the title of your presentation;<\/li>\n<li>Name and email address of the Photonics Center faculty advisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When submitting expenses for reimbursement, the student should inform their department Financial Administrator that the Photonics Center has agreed to support up to $750 toward your travel costs, and they can contact Meghan Foley for accounting information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Photonics Center students who travel to conferences to give an oral or poster presentation are eligible to receive a travel award up to $750.\u00a0 This award is open to students whose research advisor is a member of the Photonics Center faculty.
