Following his time at Boston University, he plans to apply for PhD.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enhanced Contrast of Secondary Protein Structures with Time Resolved Mid-Infrared Photothermal Microscopy: Xiaoran&#8217;s research in the Ultrafast Optics Laboratory, led by PI Michelle Sander, focused on 3D label-free photothermal imaging of fibroblast cells in collagen matrices. The overall goal was to image and visualize fibroblastics cells in 3D while removing the background while absorbing. His mentor was Panagis Samolis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Stay tuned to learn more about Penelope\u2019s research!<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h4>&#8220;[This] summer program offers a variety of research fields, allowing me to explore and deepen my skills in areas closely aligned with my academic interests.
