He teaches 7th and 8th Grade Science\/Special Education at Dr. William Henderson K-12 Full Inclusion School. Mark\u2019s favorite part about teaching is seeing his students find joy in learning, \u201cit is usually after they overcome challenges that the learning is the most fulfilling\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Over the summer, Mark worked with<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/photonics-ret\/research-projects\/2022-summer-projects\/james-bird\/\">James Bird<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>(PI),<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/photonics-reu\/meet-the-participants\/2022-participants\/jack-verich\/\">Jack Verich<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>(REU), and Garam Lee (graduate student mentor) in the Fluid Lab. Their project researched Particle Deposition Patterns in Complex Fluids.
