(Dipl\u00f4me Sup\u00e9rieur d&#8217;Universit\u00e9) in political science from Universit\u00e9 Panth\u00e9on-Assas (Paris II), and her Ph.D. in philosophy from Duke University. She works in the history of early modern philosophy, with a particular emphasis on Spinoza. In addition to early modern philosophy, she has an ongoing interest in ancient ethical theories, especially Aristotle&#8217;s. She is also interested in the history of ethics in general, with a comparative emphasis on ancient and modern ethical theories.
