Webb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Interests:<\/strong> Logic, Foundations of Mathematics, Philosophy of Mind<\/p>\n<h3>Judson Webb is the author of:<\/h3>\n<p><em>Mechanism, Mentalism, and Metamathematics: An Essay on Finitism<\/em> (Reidel 1980), a full length study of the bearing of incompleteness and undecidability theorems of G\u00f6del and Church on the Turing thesis and artificial intelligence, as well as on Hilbert&#8217;s Program.<\/p>\n<p><em>Immanuel Kant and the Greater Glory of Geometry<\/em> (1988), a study of the bearing of the discovery of non-Euclidean geometry on Kant&#8217;s philosophy of geometry<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Webb is also the author of several articles on Kant, Carnap, and G\u00f6del. He has just completed a book on the emergence of the problem of time in modern philosophy entitled:<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s About Time: Some Theories of Time and Duration from Descartes to Kant.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Webb&#8217;s graduate level teaching has recently included a seminar on Kant&#8217;s Critique of Pure Reason.
