Allen Speight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"noindent\"><strong>Interests:<\/strong> Hegel and German Idealism, Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art, Philosophy of Literature, Philosophy of Religion, Ancient Philosophy, Philosophy of Agency<\/p>\n<p class=\"noindent\">Professor Speight has been a Fulbright Professor at Leuphana Universit\u00e4t L\u00fcneburg (2012), Berlin Prize Fellow of the American Academy in Berlin (2003), a fellow of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD, 1990) and a Fulbright Scholar at the Hegel Archive of the Ruhr-Universit\u00e4t Bochum (1991-92). Professor Speight has twice won the Undergraduate Philosophy Association\u2019s Excellence in Teaching Award and also received the College Honors Program Oustanding Teaching Award.
