MassBio Event – Trans-Atlantic Trade: What the TTIP Negotiations Mean for the BioPharma Industry

The British Embassy, in collaboration with MassBio, BIO, and the British Consulate General, will host this half-day event to discuss the Trans Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) and the biopharmaceutical industry.  Speakers from the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), US Food & Drug Administration (FDA), the European Union (EU), and the European Medicines Agency (EMA), plus representatives from US and European biopharmaceutical companies, including BUSPH alumnus Usam IqbalSenior Medical Affairs Leader, Global Medical Affairs, AstraZeneca, will discuss the current state of the TTIP negotiations, the regulatory hurdles that currently exist in the biopharmaceutical sector, and what changes to the regulatory regimes TTIP might deliver.

The event will take place from 1:00-7:00pm on Monday, November 23 at MassBio, 300 Technology Square, 8th Floor, Cambridge, MA 02139
