He has worked in several fields of theoretical and\u00a0computational physics\u201a string theory, hadron phenomenology, Quantum\u00a0Chromodynamics, lattice formulations of quantum field theory and\u00a0statistical mechanics and molecular dynamics.<\/p>\n<p>Prof Brower has experience with\u00a0parallel algorithms starting with data parallel methods on the\u00a0Connection Machine up to the BlueGene\/P and currently heterogeneous architectures: GPU clusters, BlueWaters and the BG\/Q. His research on algorithms design includes multi-grid Dirac solvers,\u00a0cluster algorithms for bosonic and fermionic systems. He serves as the\u00a0National Software Co-ordinator for the SciDAC software infrastructure\u00a0project and is a member of USQCD Executive Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Prof Brower&#8217;s areas of research interest include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>molecular dynamics simulation for biomolecules<\/li>\n<li>lattice methods for QCD and statistical mechanics<\/li>\n<li>quantum field theory of strings and particles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Sample publications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Toward TeV Conformality, T.
