losers. For, I think,
thought is clearly necessary, prior to coming to conclusions
much larger than whether, at a picnic, one should flick a flying
red ant, off the sandwich where it has just landed.

On the other hand, there are of course some realms which Tradition
says
should be governed, strictly, by a kind of crazy, nutso Passion.
Who we're attracted to, for example, falls into that category,
with a well-known
Clatter. Still, even while we are focussing in that wise - fixating in
a passionate fit on, say, something immensely stirring-up such as
the pretty way somebody we've just met may have of picking up
A
teacup-or cogitating, as us humans are wont to, upon a pretty
smile,
a handsome bosom, or a nice set of buns - we are still,
I
think,
nonetheless on the verge of having to make
A
decision of significant weight.
I
mean, we are after all, in at least
some of those instances, faced with a person we may possibly be
getting a lot closer to; and since heads tend to get close to
other heads while making love,
&
minds have the habit of rubbing
off on one another- even omitting the possibility that they may be
Around later, so that we'll be spending some time with them in the
morning
(&,
in some particularly appealing instances, in the afternoon)–
aren't we confronting the possibility of letting loose, in our
Psychic china-shop, a potential elephant?
I
must say, this ant
in the meantime, is certainly busy, is starting up with the lettuce
&
dragging its feet around in the mayonnaise on top of the ham,
&
is
starting to get tiny sprinklets in my eyes. And plus that, I notice,
a butterfly has just landed on my nose!
