A MEMORY
This is so far away that it feels like a different incarnation
but it seems that once there was a lake
and while the moon was rising between roses like a horse's head
and the wind was flowing through the grass
the lake filled with stars when the cosmic peacock
spread his tail silently over so many light years
then free of the defilement of garments
I floated in the lake a real astronaut.
So one day my soul my mysterious inhabitant
wilt thou float free of the defilement of my body
through the fiery tail of the cosmic peacock
in the ecstatic harmonious yelling of the stars.
INVOCATION
This is the hour of absolute repentance
huge white rabbits suffering from fluffism
appear from nowhere and jump into holes in space again.
The whistling path of ineffable loneliness
spans the Cosmos reaching the sil ver heart
of an angel immobilized in a bl ue crystal.
Oh angel Telesphoros
come over the Cosmos on swift wings
and bring me from afar the message
whispering in my ear the mystery of gnats
and then perhaps let us perish together
in the velvety softness of A flat major.
