unrolled carpet in the lobby of a movie house
at whose sight you suddenly groan
with new intimacy,
-a heartily sentimental snoring sound-,
and from the floor rises roaring relief,
and the lids lower more slowly over the burning eyeballs
and gently stroke patience back-
don't be impatient now! ;
or another time a
typewriter shop ,
you stare down at the machine
with paper to try it out,
and there, among the people in the shop, read :
"0 desespoir! 0 villesse! 0 rage! .
"
- YOut eyes grow wide,
whatever you look at
LAUGHS-
after such long nonsense , suddenly there was so much of the world 's
abundance.
The opposite ofnonsense is not meaning–
you just don ' t need meaning any more ,
don ' t even seek philosophical sense for the nonsense:
counted-out words ; which should be outlawed ,
you think.
At a table in a cafe a woman sits before a glass of beer ,
looks out the window
and smiles .
Of all those sitting there she is the only one
with an expression:
And when you look at her
a feeling also returns to your own ugly, deaf face,
and the indescribable day becomes describable,
