How odd, I thought, as my manhood exploded deliriously for the
second and then the third time . My tears mixed with hers as she fell off
the milk box on which she had been standing. Did we know each
other's hearts? And did it matter? All I knew was that her life was
rougher than steel wool, darker than midnight, blacker than blue ...
