movies.... Fawcett will bring out
MARGE PIERCY's novel Small
Changes in paperback this fall. A col·
lection of her poems, To Be of Use,
was published this winter by Double·
day .... DON ZACHARIA owns a
retail liquor store in Scarsdale and is
writing a noveL ... The poems in
this issue were chosen by Michael
Anania who will be alternating with
Paul Zweig as poetry consultant....
PHI LIP APPLEMAN is currently
Visiting Professor of English and
Comparative Literature at Columbia
and recipient of a Fellowship in Cre·
ative Writing from the National En–
dowment on the Arts.... The
Poetry of Surrealism and The Prose
Poem are MICHAEL BENEDIKT's
two forthcoming anthologies. He was
recently named poetry editor of The
Paris Review... . HELEN CHASIN
lives in New York City where she
teaches poetry workshops. Her
second book of poems will be pub–
lished
next
year

Little,
Brown.... SUSAN GRATHWOHL's
first book is Explanations of Photo–
synthesis. She describes herself as an
active feminist; she and her husband
will be starting a printer's collective
in Ithaca.... MICHAEL HUTCHI–
SON lives on the Lower East Side.
He reviews books, writes articles on
rock and jazz, and is completing a
novel and a play .... JOHN JACOB
is a contributing editor of Margins.
He has been a social worker for the
state of Illinois and has just finished
a book exposing corruption in a
city's social agencies.... On leave
