at Yale, is preparing a series of lectures for Cooper Union which will
attempt to marry the history of art and the art of history. In the spring

author of The Hamadsha: A Study in Moroccan Ethnopsychiatry just pub–
lished by the University of California Press. He teaches courses at Prince–
