was going wrong. I looked up at
his

face. A few beads of sweat were collected along his upper lip and
his
eyes suddenly seemed very small.
"Do you have permission to use the library?"
"No. I guess not."
He stood for a moment without saying anything, as
if
undecided
whether to continue. Then he dropped the books on the table with a
bang, turned quickly and left the room. The double doors continued
swinging long after he was gone.
