The HOUGHTON MIFFLIN LITERARY FELLOWSHIP,
now in its twenty-fifth year, is designed to help new writers who are
engaged in works of fiction, poetry or non-fiction.

An Award of $2400 is given to each Fellowship winner. A finished
manuscript, as well as a work in progress is eligible for an Award.

Applications may be filed and material submitted throughout the
year; and an Award may be granted at any time for a project that
qualifies.
*
All manuscripts submitted will be considered for publication, whether
or not they receive an Award.
