You are invited to subscribe to a new and unique presentation
of contemporary poetry and fine printing.
Every month Poems in Folio publishes, in broadsheet form, the first
edition of a new poem by an outstanding American or English poet.
Among poets invited to contribute are W. H. Auden, Robert Frost,
Robert Graves, E. E. Cummings, Elizabeth Bishop, Robinson Jeffers,
Theodore Roethke, and William Carlos Williams.
Poems are hand-set and printed in broadsheet on quality paper
by a number of America's fine presses, including the Grabhorn Press,
the L. D. Allen Press, and the Ward Ritchie Press.
A separate sheet includes autobiographical material,
notes by the poet, and the details of press, type and paper.
A 12 inch LP high-fidelity recording will be issued at the end
of the year, of the year's twelve poems read by the poets.
The editorial board includes Stanley Kunitz, poet and
editor of
Twentieth Century Authors;
Henry Rago,
poet and editor of
Poetry,
America's leading periodical of verse; and
Richard Wilbur, poet, dramatist, and winner of the Prix de Rome.
