Parent and Family Volunteers

The Parent & Family Volunteer Program serves to nurture a strong community of Boston University parents.

How to get involved as a Volunteer

  • Participate in a Virtual Orientation (July/August/January) to connect with parents of incoming freshmen and answer questions and share your experience as a current BU parent.
  • Serve as a Regional Parent Contact (Annually) to answer questions and share your experience as a current BU parent.
  • Volunteer during Family & Friends Weekend (October) to welcome parents and families to campus and to answer their questions.
  • Attend Admissions Information Receptions (September) and Admissions Admitted Student Receptions (March/April) to share your personal BU experience with prospective parents in your area.
