The 2019 Tournées Film Festival at Boston University

  • Starts: 5:00 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2019
  • Ends: 9:00 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2019
The Tournées Film Festival is a free, open to all, event on campus (Photonics 206) that will feature six contemporary and classic Francophone movies. The 2019 theme is "Belonging—Youth and Identity in French Cinema". Some of the screenings will be followed-up by roundtables with BU professors and other guest speakers from around Boston. The main goal of the Festival is to bring French Films to American campus/universities. It is also a first step for a wide cross-section of Boston University’s students to expand their perspectives and interests while growing in their understanding of what diversity, empathy, and tolerance entail. The Festival is made possible thanks to the fund of the French American Cultural Exchange Foundation.
