• Dr. Amy Baltzell is the Coordinator of the Sport Psychology Track in the Counseling Program at BU’s Wheelock College of Education & Human Development, specializing in performance enhancement, positive psychology, and mindfulness. Dr. Baltzell is the author of Living in the Sweet Spot (2011), the Power of Mindfulness (2018) and was the editor of Mindfulness of Performance (2016). She has been involved in sports at all levels including Olympic-level rowing and professional sailing. • In this program, Dr. Amy Baltzell, will offer a digestible, dynamic explanation of the concepts of mindfulness and self-compassion. Through case examples of clients and leaders facing stress, feeling burnout and rising expectations she will highlight how to use these skills to nurture resilience. Amy will offer practical recommendations to more effectively engage with the challenges of daily life. You may register to participate in this event in-person or virtually.
