Cooking from Northern Italy, with Mary Anne Esposito

Prepare an array of dishes from across Northern Italy with Mary Ann Esposito, prolific cookbook author, culinary teacher, and host of America’s longest-running cooking show, Ciao Italia. This hands-on class will include recipes such as canederli allo speck (bread and smoked meat dumplings from the Alto Adige region), beef carbonade with polenta and roasted mushrooms with thyme (from the Val d’Aosta region), and torta di pere alle porrone (pear and nougat cake from the Lombardia region). After working with Mary Ann in the kitchen to prepare the recipes, enjoy the fruits of your labor along with wine pairings selected by Guy Esposito, Mary Ann’s husband and a wine educator with accreditation from the United States Sommelier Association. Includes dinner with wine pairing.
