Neuroscientist Suzanne Corkin Lecture: Amnesia, Memory and Learning

  • Starts: 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 5, 2014
  • Ends: 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 5, 2014
For the past 55 years, one amnesiac patient has changed the way scientists study and understand human memory. Neuroscientist Suzanne Corkin will give a free public lecture in Boston about her work with this amnesiac patient, H.M. Even after H.M.'s death in 2008, Corkin and many other scientists have continued to study his brain, which was donated to MIT and Mass General. You can read more here: http://www.cogneurosociety.org/keynote-address/ We'd love to see students from BU at this free and public event on April 5, 2-3pm at the Marriott Copley Place Hotel. Can you please add this event to your calendar? The lecture will kickoff the meeting of the Cognitive Neuroscience Society, which will bring together more than 1500 scientists in Boston from April 5-8.
