Sociology Department Student-Faculty Meet and Greet

Thinking of Majoring in Sociology? Not sure what classes to take next semester? Interested in the research our professors are doing? Looking for a Senior Thesis Advisor? The Undergraduate Sociology Association (USA) invites you to join the Sociology Department on Wednesday, October 30th at 4:15pm for a faculty meet and greet. Come and meet fellow Sociology students and get to know your Professors! Refreshments will be served - all are invited to attend. About USA The Undergraduate Sociology Association (USA) strives to engage Sociology Majors/Minors and the BU student community on the themes, concepts, and skills central to the discipline of Sociology. Members of USA are deeply invested in contemplating sociological issues while applying differing sociological perspectives to the social world. Events and meetings sponsored by USA are meant to assist, guide, unify, and captivate all students who are either slightly interested in or deeply passionate about sociology. Part of USA's mission is to grow better ties with the Sociology Department staff as well as the other social sciences at BU, facilitating a wider and closer-knit community. In addition, USA aims to inform the BU student population on the quintessential ideas of sociology and the value of a sociological education.
