Celebrating Photography: PRC 2013 Gala

On November 2, 2013, the photography community will come together to celebrate photography and New England’s most venerable center for fine art photography, the Photographic Resource Center.
Following an elegant reception in the lobby of the Boston University Trustee Ballroom there will be a seated dinner during which Peter Galassi, former Chief Curator of Photography of the Museum of Modern Art, will speak on “Robert Frank in America.” The PRC is also delighted to be presenting a life-time achievement award to Boston native and photography luminary Marie Cosindas for her pioneering work in color and Polaroid photography.
An exclusive live auction will cap off the evening featuring work by leading figures in contemporary American photography.
