Nov. 19 Carmina Burana will be presented by BU Symphony Orchestra & Symphonic Chorus at Symphony Hall. Limited free tickets are available to students. See pickup locations below. Tickets are available first come, first served. One ticket per student, please.
Nearly 60 years after Leopold Stokowski and BU led the East Coast Premiere of Carmina Burana, conductor David Hoose brings history back to Symphony Hall.
BU will perform Carl Orff's acclaimed piece, as well as Edgard Varese's Hyperprism, and the Boston premiere of Percy Grainger's The Warriors.
