He draws on frameworks from contract theory, law, and New Institutional Economics.<\/span><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span>Greenacre has particular expertise in studying \u201cbridge contracts,\u201d which firms and governments are using to move into rural and frontier areas in Africa. He is exploring mobile money, particularly the M-Pesa service, \u201cHello Tractor\u201d (which is a so-called \u201cUber for tractor\u201d sharing app), and agency banking, all of which operate across the continent.<\/span><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span>Professor Greenacre also has extensive experience in the regulation of new technologies and financial products, particularly in the developing world.
