Pardee School of Global Studies and Interim Director of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s2\">Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future<\/span><\/a>, whose chapter, co-authored with Juan Pablo Prado Lallande, is titled &#8220;The North-South Divide, the Digital Agenda, and Digital Diplomacy.&#8221; Heine&#8217;s expertise adds a unique perspective to the handbook, shedding light on the complexities of digital diplomacy in the context of global disparities and will <\/span><span><span class=\"css-1qaijid r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\">be a great teaching tool in his course on Digital Diplomacy (IR 553).<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Ambassador Jorge Heine is a Research Professor at the Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University. He has served as ambassador of Chile to China (2014-2017), to India (2003-2007), and to South Africa (1994-1999), and as a Cabinet Minister in the Chilean Government.
