This dynamic event facilitated interdisciplinary discussions on critical issues facing Asian societies, fostering innovative solutions and connections.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/alumni\/events-landing\/latin-american-summit\/\">Latin American Summit<\/a> in Miami, <span>which took place from November 10\u201312, 2023, <\/span>highlighted the expertise of the Pardee community. Pardee alumni <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jose-felipe-otero-munoz\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Jos\u00e9 Felipe Otero Mu\u00f1oz (Pardee\u201995)<\/a><span> VP, Latin America &amp; Caribbean, 5G Americas, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/mauriciocordero\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Mauricio Cordero (Pardee\u201909)<\/a><span>, CEO &amp; Co-Founder, Bankaya, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/marcelogarciaalmaguer\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Marcelo Garcia Almaguer (Pardee\u201996)<\/a><span>, Co-Founder &amp; Dean, Academia Politica Digital<\/span>, Pardee student Zach Sherman (BA &#8217;24), Co-Founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thewonderfund.net\">the Wonderfund, <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/profile\/jorge-heine\/\">Pardee Professor Jorge Heine<\/a> played key roles as speakers. The summit explored the transformative impact of technology, data, and AI on Latin American industries.<\/p>\n<p>Preceding the Latin American Summit, an alumni and Pardee community mix and mingle in Miami provided a platform for networking and collaboration.
