On September 6, 2023, Boston University\u2019s Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies welcomed its undergraduate and graduate students back to campus with an event centered around Pardee community building and facilitating student-faculty<\/a>\u00a0interaction.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The event provided Pardee School students the opportunity to get to know their\u00a0faculty mentors<\/a>\u00a0in an informal setting.\u00a0<\/span>Students also learned more about the school\u2019s\u00a0affiliated centers and institutes<\/a>, offerings from\u00a0Student Affairs and Services<\/a>, as well as student-led organizations including the International Relations Review<\/a>,\u00a0 The Politica<\/a>, the Pardee Graduate Council<\/a>, the\u00a0<\/span>Boston University International Affairs Association<\/a>,\u00a0the\u00a0Pardee Atlas<\/a>, and the academic fraternity\/sorority\u00a0Delta Phi Epsilon<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dean Scott Taylor celebrated his first anniversary as dean with remarks to the Pardee School community, marking the commencement of the academic year.<\/span> During his address, he extended a warm welcome to the 588 undergraduate and 92 graduate students who have joined the Pardee School from 22 different countries. Dean Taylor expressed his deep appreciation for both the students and faculty, conveying his optimism for the promising future ahead.<\/p>\n
