In an interview<\/a> on Canal Pais<\/em>‘ “Country Project,” Jorge Heine<\/a>, Research Professor at Boston University\u2019s Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies and Interim Director of the\u00a0<\/span>Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future<\/a>, discussed his latest book and his perspective on China<\/a> in the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Heine was asked about his book Xi-na en el siglo del drag\u00f3n. Lo que todos deben saber sobre China\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/a>(Xi-Na in the Century of the Dragon: What Everyone Should Know About China) as well as <\/span>the state of Sino-Latin American<\/a> relations, trends in Chinese foreign direct investment<\/a> worldwide, and the United States-China<\/a> trade<\/a> war. In discussing his research, Heine notes that his latest work not only offers an economic perspective and politics but also gives us the opportunity to get to know the Asian giant historically, culturally, and touristically.<\/span><\/p>\n
