Ambassador\u00a0<\/span>Jorge Heine<\/a>, Research Professor at Boston University\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies<\/a>, has published a new book on China’s unprecedented economic and social progress titled Xi-na en el siglo del drag\u00f3n. Lo que todos deben saber sobre China <\/em><\/a>(Xi-Na in the Century of the Dragon: What Everyone Should Know About China).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The publication was presented during a launch event hosted by the University of Chile’s Institute of International Studies (IEI) by CNN Chile <\/em>journalist and political scientist M\u00f3nica Rinc\u00f3n; former Chilean Minister of State, Sergio Bitar; the Coordinator of the Chinese Studies Program of the IEI, Professor Andr\u00e9s B\u00f3rquez. During the event, panelists discussed how Heine’s latest book not only offers an economic perspective and politics but also gives us the opportunity to get to know the Asian giant historically, culturally, and touristically.<\/p>\n
