His teaching addresses global ideas about social, economic, and political justice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I look forward to discussions with students and colleagues and to contributing to the broader Boston University community,&#8221; says Mondesire. &#8220;This term I\u2019ll teach a new course titled &#8216;The Ballot or the Bullet: The Global Struggle for Justice.&#8217; The course explores the vision, limits, and strategies of emancipatory projects as they take shape globally.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span>Professor Mondesire is a socio-cultural anthropologist whose work focuses on how transnational geopolitics become elements of everyday life.
