Kevin Gallagher<\/a>, Professor of Global Development Policy at Boston University\u2019s Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies and Director of BU\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>Global Development Policy Center<\/a>\u00a0(GDP Center), and Richard Kozul-Wright, Director of the Globalisation and Development Strategies Division at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), appeared on the Sustainability Agenda podcast<\/a> to discuss their ideas for a new Bretton Woods to deal with inequality and climate breakdown.<\/span><\/p>\n

In his remarks, Gallagher discusses the need for reforming the international economic order to address pressing climate and development challenges.<\/span> The two also discussed the motivations and findings of their latest book – The Case for a New Bretton Woods<\/a> – <\/em>which <\/span>calls for a global discussion to realign global economic institutions for our collective climate, social and development goals.<\/span><\/p>\n
