On April 1, 2022, Adil Najam<\/a>, Dean of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, discussed ways in which the world is changing in an interview with Sustainable Development Television<\/em> (SDTV).<\/span><\/p>\n

The interview followed Najam’s keynote at the Sustainable Development Policy Institute<\/a> (SDPI), during which he outlined global fundamental changes that are happening in five key areas: global power, climate change, the nature of work, intelligence and information, as well as democracy. Najam argues that the world needs to think of these issues in the “frameworks of tomorrow” as opposed to the “frameworks of yesterday,” meaning it needs to move beyond archaic perceptions of geopolitics and energy and adapt to changing trends and technologies in order to tackle these issues effectively.<\/p>\n
