Ambassador <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/profile\/jorge-heine\/\">Jorge Heine<\/a><span>,\u00a0Research Professor at the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/\">Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies<\/a><span>\u00a0at Boston University, offered comments on the conversation and the crisis in Ukraine during an interview with <em>NTN 24\u00a0<\/em>in Washington D.C.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In his comments, Heine speculated on whether China could mediate in Ukraine. While China has yet to intervene or made an indication that it will, its ties with Russia and global influence mean it has the potential to play a pivotal role in the conflict.
