Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University to speak to current students about careers in international affairs.<\/p>\n<p>The diverse panel &#8211; moderated by PGC Communications Director Flavia Roscini (MAIA \u201822) and PGC Vice-President Joyana Richer (MAIA \u201822) &#8211; featured Danielle de la Fuente (BA \u201806), Founder &amp; CEO of Amal Alliance and BU <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/\">Global Development Policy Center<\/a> (GDP Center) Advisory Board member; Christina Cherel (BA \u201811, MPH \u201814), Senior Program Officer at the Bill &amp; Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health; as well as Samuel Green (BA \u201815), Public Diplomacy Officer at the United States Department of State.<\/p>\n<p>During the panel, alumni described their career journeys and offered advice to attendees. They emphasized the importance of networking as well as establishing relationships with Pardee School professors who are experts in their fields and can offer guidance in the job search. Additionally, they said to make meaningful connections with peers since graduates might find themselves working together in the future. While at BU, the panelists recommended taking advantage of the study abroad programs and continuing to cultivate hard and soft skills.
