Ambassador\u00a0<\/span>Vesko Gar\u010devi\u0107<\/a>, Professor of the Practice of International Relations at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, was interviewed by\u00a0Euronews\u00a0<\/em>on protests in Montenegro over the inauguration of a new head of the Serbian Orthodox Church.<\/span><\/p>\n

In his remarks, Gar\u010devi\u0107 noted that his biggest concern is that Montenegro seems to be more divided than ever, even more than when the country voted for independence. He suggested that the European Union (EU) should rethink its approach and revitalize the European perspective as many people in the region think that joining the EU is a long shot or even a dead end. As a consequence, Gar\u010devi\u0107 said other actors are able to interfere in the region.<\/p>\n
