Ambassador\u00a0<\/span>Vesko Gar\u010devi\u0107<\/a>, Professor of the Practice of International Relations at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, was interviewed by\u00a0Voice of America<\/em> on the political situation in the United States leading up to Joe Biden\u2019s Presidential Inauguration.<\/span><\/p>\n In the interview, Gar\u010devi\u0107 discussed the political implications of President Donald Trump’s second impeachment, the growing concern of Americans that democratic institutions are in crisis, as well as the lasting destabilizing effects of the Capitol Hill attack on American society. I made a point that President Trump lost the election, but Trumpism as a political ideology will continue to dominate American space long after Trump leaves office.<\/p>\n Gar\u010devi\u0107 concluded by stating the incoming Biden administration will face many challenges in the coming years; however, he also stated that every challenge creates opportunity.
