Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future<\/a><span>, an affiliated center of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, hosted a panel event titled &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardee\/2020\/12\/08\/upcoming-the-future-of-sustainable-development-in-the-world-after-coronavirus\/\">The Future of Sustainable Development in \u201cThe World After Coronavirus<\/a>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00a0The webinar served as the Plenary Dialogue of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sdpi.org\/sdconference\/Sustainable-Development-in-the-Times-of-COVID-19\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Sustainable Development Policy Institute&#8217;s (SDPI) 23rd Sustainable Development Conference<\/a><span>. The panel built on one of the major themes from the Pardee Center\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/2020\/09\/30\/the-world-after-coronavirus-pardee-center-launches-video-series\/\">\u201cThe World After Coronavirus\u201d (#WorldAfterCorona) video series<\/a> and <span>explored the future of sustainable development in a COVID-19 world<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span>Adil Najam, Dean of the Pardee School, was joined by featured guests from the series including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newschool.edu\/international-affairs\/faculty\/sakiko-fukuda-parr\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Sakiko Fukuda-Parr<\/a>,\u00a0Professor of International Affairs at The New School and Former Director, UNDP Human Development Report Office; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwildlife.org\/leaders\/yolanda-kakabadse\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Yolanda Kakabadse<\/a>, Former President,\u00a0<\/span>World Wildlife Fund <span>(WWF) International &amp; International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and Former Minister of Environment for Ecuador; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cseindia.org\/page\/sunita-narain\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Sunita Narain<\/a>,\u00a0Director General, Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), India; Editor,\u00a0Down to Earth\u00a0magazine; and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwildlife.org\/experts\/alice-ruhweza\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Alice Ruhweza<\/a>, Regional Director for Africa, WWF International.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>A recording of the event can be viewed below.<\/p>\n<div class=\"responsive-video responsive-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Future of Sustainable Development in \u201cThe World After Coronavirus\u201d\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WXeTYbWl6zM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardee\/\">Frederick S.
